Steel Cut Oats
The oat grains are left whole and cut into pieces with a steel mill hence the name – steel cut oats. Steel cut oats are the least processed and therefore maintain the dense chewy texture and nutty flavor when cooked. They do take longer to cook than rolled or quick oats but it’s worth waiting!! Cook 1 cup steel cut oats with 2-3 cups of water or milk. Bring it to boil and simmer for about 15-20 minutes. Then top it with your favorite nuts, berries and fruit and enjoy delicious healthy breakfast.Size
